Rannsókn Háskólans á Akureyri um stöðu fjölmenningar
Háskólinn á Akureyri vinnur nú að stórri rannsókn um stöðu innflytjenda og fjölmenningar á Íslandi þar sem Snæfellsbær skipar sérstakan sess sem eitt af samanburðarsveitarfélögunum.
Markmið rannsóknarinnar er að fá innsýn í stöðu innflytjenda í íslensku samfélagi og afla þekkingar svo betur sé hægt að skilja þau vandamál og áskoranir sem innflytjendur standa frammi fyrir á Íslandi. Áhersla er lögð á þætti er varða tungumál, atvinnu, menntun, menningu og lífshamingju. Mikill skortur hefur verið á rannsóknum af þessu tagi og því standa vonir til að þátttaka verði góð.
Könnunin er rafræn og er notast við „snjóboltaúrtak“. Það þýðir að fólk má dreifa könnuninni meðal vina eða ættingja og geta notað sama hlekk mörgum sinnum, jafnvel um sömu IP tölu. Það er því auðvelt að deila könnuninni meðal vina og ættingja, t.d. á samfélagsmiðlum. Þátttaka er frjáls og öll svör algerlega nafnlaus.

How is your life in Iceland?
In the past two decades, the number of immigrants in Iceland has doubled. Still little is known about this group of people or their status in Iceland. The purpose of this survey is to examine the living conditions of immigrants within the Icelandic society, so we can better understand the problems and challenges that immigrants face in Iceland.
The study is conducted by the University of Akureyri in collaboration with foreign experts. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary and all of your responses are anonymous. None of the responses will be connected to identifying information. Your participation counts in order to help understanding your situation in Iceland, and to improve the status of other immigrants in Iceland.
Therefore, we would very much appreciate your response to this survey; it should not take you more than 15 minutes to complete.

Jak oceniasz swoje życie w Islandii?
W ciągu ostatnich dwudziestu lat liczba imigrantów w Islandii podwoiła się. Nadal niewiele wiadomo na temat tej grupy ludzi oraz ich statusu w Islandii. Celem tej ankiety jest zbadanie warunków życia imigrantów w społeczeństwie islandzkim, abyśmy mogli lepiej zrozumieć problemy i wyzwania, jakie imigranci napotykają w tym kraju.
Badanie prowadzi Uniwersytet w Akureyri we współpracy z zagranicznymi ekspertami. Udział w ankiecie jest całkowicie dobrowolny, a wszystkie Twoje odpowiedzi będą anonimowe.
